The works from Bangalore to Nidghatta were approved for a total amount of \u20b9 2190 crore. However, civil works cost \u20b9 875.90 crore and land acquisition cost \u20b9 2018.75 crore. The minister explained that the work was scheduled for May 2, 2022.
The project from Nidaghatta to Mysore was approved for a total of \u20b9 2283 crore. However, civil works cost \u20b9 882.66 crore and land acquisition cost \u20b9 1278.13 crore. The work was also set for a deadline of September 7, 2022. However, Kovid explained that the works would be completed by the end of the current year due to land and land acquisition reasons.
