BANGALORE: The Bangalore-Mysore National Highway is scheduled to be completed by December 2022, Patil said in Vidhan Sabha on Wednesday.
Responding to a question by JD’s Maritibbegowda, the minister said, “This highway work is being carried out in two packages. 56.20 km The longest Bangalore-to-Nidraghatta-1 package and 61.104 km Another package is from Mysore to Longer Terminal. ”
The works from Bangalore to Nidghatta were approved for a total amount of ₹ 2190 crore. However, civil works cost ₹ 875.90 crore and land acquisition cost ₹ 2018.75 crore. The minister explained that the work was scheduled for May 2, 2022.
The project from Nidaghatta to Mysore was approved for a total of ₹ 2283 crore. However, civil works cost ₹ 882.66 crore and land acquisition cost ₹ 1278.13 crore. The work was also set for a deadline of September 7, 2022. However, Kovid explained that the works would be completed by the end of the current year due to land and land acquisition reasons.
